Missed my scheduled run for the first time since starting c25k. Taken to a&e from miu in am ambulance with chest pains. I knew it wasn't cardiac but they wouldn't listen. So now been stuck here with a bleeding canula in my arm waiting for further test results. Current working diagnosis is lung infection. Not happy!

Hang in there, best to get checked and diagnosed and then you can get on with things you want to do (running perhaps 😊)

Being in hospital is a totally acceptable "excuse" for missing a scheduled run! Get well soon.

Oh darn it! There is always some fly in the ointment when you least need it 🙄

Oh well, best sit it out and rest up, while planning for Annie, The Return 😀

Seriously, I hope you feel better very soon. Take care 🙂

Lung infections need sorting just as heart conditions do.

Thank goodness we have an NHS.

Thanks to all those doctors and nurses who actually care about our health and want to do their best for us.

I cannot fault the care offered to family members during the past year.

Get well soon Annie - but until you are recovered leave your running shoes in the cupboard.

I understand your frustration. I hurt my back yesterday morning and first thing I thought was "not gonna be able to run for a while now!" I was looking forward to do W8R1...but we better get sorted first...hope you feel better soon 😊

Glad you're doing better. I was wondering about you. I'm sure you'll not have forgotten how to run in just a week, so don't worry. Just take it slowly.
