Wish me luck! : Started day 1 of week 1 today... - Couch to 5K
Wish me luck!
No luck needed lady leprechaun, just this programme and the will to succeed! Well done for getting started, look forward to hearing about your journey. X
Lots of Luck.. Irish or otherwise
Welcome to one of the best things you have ever done. There is support, advice, encouragement, empathy and sympathy on this forum..plus we totally rock!
Slow and steady is the way; take it at your own pace and listen to your body..( it may protest a little at first)...and you will get to the Graduation podium happy and injury free
Keep posting and you will find that helps your motivation
Well done you And remember, this isn't a race, it's a journey...your journey
Thank you Oldfloss , I am determined if nothing else, I managed to give up smoking after 35 years so I can hopefully master the art of running! πππ
A bit late to the party but best of luck. Most of all be kind to yourself. π
Go you, m'lady. Welcome aboard.
Thank you all, going for day 2 in a mo! Beautiful if not a tad chilly this morning but that should blow away any cobwebs! Have a great day whatever and wherever you may be πππHappy St Patricks Day! πππ
So how was your run? And how do you feel?
Feels great! Feeling possible, doable. I am not jogging fast though! I'm doing the best I can atm and sometimes my jog is more a fast walk but I am doing the full 60 seconds, which is a achievement for me π
Well done. Slow and steady is my motto, with particular emphasis on slow. In fact I giggled out loud today when I realised my fast walk and slow run were about the same, LOL. But who cares? Not me, it's the getting out there and doing it that matters. Have a great day x
