Well tomorrow is the big day for me. I shall be hoping to complete W6R3 . My thought process on this at the moment is to take it nice and steady with a not too fast pace ,and just to control my breathing etc etc etc!!!!
Anyway looking forward to it and I am determined to enjoy it all.
Good luck tomorrow Peggy59. I too am planning to do W6R3 tomorrow morning. A bit nervous, as I was last week, on the third run of the week! Slow and steady is how I plan to tackle it.
Good luck to you too Ched! Looks like we're both nervous!π Yes I think that's how I shall tackle it slow and steady! Youth unfortunately is no longer on my side although I never let that stop me (59 ) However I shall still try and do my best.
Will be thinking of you tomorrow and hopefully we'll be able to catch up after our great feat ha!! ππ have a great run!!
Thanks peggy59, youth also is not on my side as I am 60 - but remember it's only a number and more importantly 5 week's ago I struggled with running for 60 seconds.
Just the same for me last autumn when I started and I'm 63. If you're like me and lucky enough to have good health the C25K is nothing to fear - and it was downhill all the way from W6R3 to graduation in my case Good luck both of you.
Thank you NeedsAttn. Looking forward to week 7. Hopefully all this running will help lower my blood pressure. Knees holding up just, but calf muscles pretty sore, hopefully this will ease with time. I now believe that I can complete this thru to week 9.
Thank you very much Dunder2004 that means a great deal and I'm sure Ched will feel the sameππ There is so much great support from everyone here. You guys are all brilliant! Thanks !!
Thank you misswobble . I'm a bit nervous but looking forward to it. I'm getting ready for two 5 k runs for charity . The main one for me is Race for life in July. The pink ladies one,and the other one is for St Micheals hospice Hereford, inmay. Both good causes,so I'm going to try my best and get this C25K under my belt.
Everyone here are so supportive it means so much. Will post how it went.ππ
Thanks everybody for your words of encouragement , I am pleased to confirm that I completed the W6R3 this morning. It wasn't easy, but I even managed to end it with a bit of a sprint! Thank you all again, the support from others working through the program and especially those that have already graduated is invaluable.
