Well done you !! The same thing happened to me this morning on W8R2. Did 5.14 Km in 36:40. The strange thing was that I felt really good when I stopped and could actually have carried on - never felt that before. Either there's something in the air at the moment or this 'Couch to 5K' thing really works !!!!

Keep it up !

My legs would have kept going but I got a stitch I couldn't recover from but I couldn't do stopped, did quite enough though :)

Well done both!😊

The fact you were able to run on does prove the plan works... Getting to the magic 5k is brilliant....however

Suggest you stick to the rest of the plan if possible and do not go longer than that 36 mins yet...(its designed to prevent injury from overworking joints with small increments) and consolidate your success.

Happy running

I did worry after that I might have overdone it but I made sure to stretch out properly etc, but yeah might stick to that for a while before moving on

Congratulations!

But beware the injury couch from doing too much too soon. I speak from experience of that IC......no fun at all, and then you have to begin to rebuild.

As you further build your running legs the distance will follow.

Yeah I know :) although looking back through my mapped runs and my previous run was 4.52km and that was the proper run time so I don't think it was too much of a jump, however I will try and build up my legs properly!
