Wk 1 R2 tick!

I did it! Week 1 R2 complete, I followed advice from the previous post, left it a day to recover, drank plenty of water. I really wasn’t in the mood about half an hour before and mentally wasn’t in the mood but by 8 mins in, I was enjoying it. Yay!!! Just kept thinking of my little girl and getting fit for her 💪💪💪💪

Congratulations on completing run 2 of week 1, glad you enjoyed it, remember to report back on all the runs you do, if you do have any problems, apart from medical, the people here on C25K will hopefully be able to help, just one more thing, remember that you can repeat any runs or week's if you wish to, good luck, onwards and upwards to run 3 of week 1 🏃🏾

Remember that feeling of how good it felt once you were actually running. It just gets better and better. Well done you 🤗🤗

I agree. You're not the only one who can find it difficult to actually get out of the house. But I've never been on a run and not felt better when I've got home. I've never once regretted exercising. The trick is to keep that feeling at the front of your mind when you're lacing up your trainers.

Well done.

Yes well done on conquering that mood of can't be bothered. Once you feel happy gets some earphones and get that running music in your ears second parkrun for me on Saturday. Ran tonight with a running club considering I haven't ran since my back to back runs over the weekend. And I have graduation from the running club on Saturday. Then a santa run for charity on Sunday.. I hope you get the running bug. Guess what I was just over 17st when I started the app. Running has become part of my life now. At least I can keep up with my grandson now. Weigh day Thursday at slimming World for me only another 2 st to get to target again. All the best x

That’s how it starts to get you addicted, you can’t really be bothered but you go anyway and then one day you realise you just go because that’s what you do. You are doing great

Huge well done you... did you check out the FAQ post for Newbies. Steady and slow is perfect and great hydration every single day :)

An extra days rest is fine if you need it...(at least one between all runs is essential ) take it gently.. and you should be fine.

Well done! Overcoming apathy and going out when you really don’t feel like it, is key to success. The positive feeling when you’ve done it, the endorphin release and sense of achievement is great as you progress through the programme

As said earlier you can repeat weeks if you need to.

Keep going and you will do it

It’s so brilliant that you’ve done R2 👍🏻🏃‍♀️💪🏻👏🏻I totally sympathise with not wanting to go out, the weather here is grim at the moment but it’s such a good good feeling when we’re done!

Well done pinkfairydust10... keep going. You're doing great! It might sometimes feel difficult to prioritise yourself above the needs of everyone else but I'm gradually learning that its definitely worth it - I'm more positive and confident after I've done my run.

Brilliant. These are the hardest runs and you're doing great. Keep it up, and if you start to struggle, just remember why you're doing it ;-).

Gosh, I'm going to have to go back the the 'Well Done' shop and buy a load more, it looks like you're going to be earning loads more in the next few weeks. Keep on keeping on!
