Staying in pendle in Lancashire for a few days in a shepherds hut. The guy said the witches trail was good for running. Didn't mention the nettle beds/thistles/3 stiles 2 bridges and the uneven ground. However ran for 5.3km in 43 mins. Have scars to prove it. Got lost as you can see

But... you did not get captured by the Witches.... win, win.. well done you.. Witches, 5.3K and nettles and thistles defeated Bloody but unbowed!!!
Well done! Did you ever think you would be running on holiday????
Not in a million years!
Look what it says next to my user name now! I can't believe it!
I can't see it. Have you completed?
Yes! I am thrilled- but now a little unsure about what to do next!
Wow congratulations you have done that quickly. I am just on week 7/3 tomorrow. I don't know where you live but you sound very similar to me. Both 50+. I intend to do a parkrun once a week then do other runs during the week once I have finished. I don't know if I will do 10k. Stepping stones is supposed to be good but haven't checked it out yet. I am doing a race for life on Sunday. I am taking it seriously friends are just walking around. I am classing it as wk 8/1. I have downloaded strava so if you wanted to connect we could still encourage each other. Well done you have finished shows what you can do when you put your mind to it!! 🍾
Thanks Kimloulou. Good luck with the race for life- that's a brilliant way to kick off week 8. Definitely keep in touch because I think the motivation is even more important once the podcasts have stopped. I'm planning to give the park run a go next Saturday and this week I'm aiming to find a new route with some hills in preparation! I'm in the Midlands, and sometimes in Henley - I'm not on Starva because I use Fitbit, but I'll take a look and hopefully still see you on here too!
Love this!! Xx
Excellent, well done; scars are only superficial and will not divert you from you're goal of a accomplishing C25K.
