Well, I set out this morning with Oldfloss for company as well as Michael Johnson, Kirsty Young and Berry Gordy ( desert island disc) so it was quite a crowd as you can imagine.
Kirsty and Berry chose to cheer us on from the sidelines and to be honest it was the best choice as the lanes were almost unrecognisable with leaves and branches from yesterday's storm.
Michael was really chatty today encouraging me at regular intervals and I am pleased to report that I completed W9R1 tired but happy and congratulated myself on the journey from W1R1 to this point. Simply amazing. When I got a little tired I imagined Oldfloss running beside me and telling me to keep going!
Off to work now. Have a great day everyone and thanks again for your support.

Thank you.. I so enjoyed that run... The company was great...
You are getting so, so close now, just keep it very slow and steady.. McFitty has the party box out.. I have the other runners on stand by for your victory run!
I have to admit.. you did so, so well.. I was so fed up with the horrid weather yesterday... I took you with me, as promised when I sneaked across to my Studio ( sounds grand but isn't really)..I went on my Cross-trainer... and we did a really good run!
Slow and steady... but boy, were we tired yesterday afternoon..
Enjoy your rest day tomorrow.. and then..Run 2..eeek!!!!!
