What a difference a day makes.

So, yesterday morning I did a spot of parkrun tourism at St Andrews on my way home from a lovely few days away. I had the cold but I remembered the rule about if it's above your neck it's fine to run, although I found it hard.

Anyway, yesterday afternoon and evening I did NOTHING. I was wiped out! I even had a big sleep in the afternoon which is something I can't do even if I want to normally.

(When I say I did nothing, I did do quite a lot of whining...)

My legs were a bit sore too as I'd had a longish run the day before as well.

The gremlins were dancing around telling me ridiculous lies about how I'd never run again.

Today? I can breathe through my nose. I'm perfectly fine. I'm planning my next run. :)

You should have come further down the coast to Kirkcaldy. We had cake & loads of it yesterday 😀 Glad you're feeling better today.

Kirkcaldy has a wee one. You just need to do it twice 😮

Both of you - come to Perth. Flat as a pancake! No cake but some of us adjourn for brunch straight after!

Edinburgh is also nice and flat, right on the waterfront near Cramond!

At the North Inch, just near the front of Bells Sports Centre.

Well done Anne. Sounds like those gremlins gave up and took that cold with them! :)

"When I say I did nothing, I did do quite a lot of whining..." hahaha that's exactly me when I'm poorly too! 😆
