I'm off to have a gait analysis today and buy a new pair of running shoes. I've been running with a pair of Lidl Ladies Running Shoes which have served me well throughout my 9 weeks of C25K but now it's time for an upgrade! How exciting?

Well done on your graduation and a new pair of running shoes well deserved.

I have promised myself a proper gait analysis and new shoes when I make it to 5k.

You'll have to show us a photo of your new shoes when you get them :-)

Gait analysis is definitely worth it! You'll probably walk out of the shop with a pair of shoes you absolutely love and won't believe how much you spent on them but they'll be your best running friend for a decent while! A perfect pair of shoes makes all the difference! One word of advice - don't forget a sports bra like I did!
