So I went to Sweatshop this morning for my gait analysis and it's appears that I over pronate especially on my right leg. I tried out a few pairs of new shoes and these came out best. Went out for a quick run when I got back home and I don't know if it was the shoes or not but I was so much faster 6.01 average speed per K as opposed to 6.25ish with my old shoes! Wowzers.....
Now the not so great news is that my knees still feel tender after even the short run of 3.75k. Not as bad as before but I am still concerned. The practice nurse this morning said maybe not to run for a while but I've already had a week off and thought that might be enough. She also suggested physio as a possibility. I hope I don't have to give up running altogether :/
Anyway, here's the obligatory new shoes photo!
