I have finally bought my first pair of proper shoes today! I also had a gait analysis and it turns out that I my feet pronate a bit when I run! So I am not surprised that I have been having trouble with hip injuries over the last few months because my previous trainers were not even proper running shoes and they definitely weren't support shoes! So I'm hoping these new shoes will help me in recovery from my hip injuries! Can't wait to try them out on my training run tomorrow!

Gait analysis finally and new running shoes!
Hi Redcello41 , you've definitely done the right thing by having a gait analysis, you know now why you were having those problems, getting it right is so important...your running journey will be a much happier one now. Good luck on their first outing!!
Well done Redcello! But where’s the picture of them?! You know we love our shoe porn here! May they give you many miles of comfy running!
Hahaha can't work out how to attach a photo onto a reply! Will do it on a separate post so you can see them!
Great ,new shoes hope your running feels a lot better😊
Hope you enjoy your runs in them and run pain free.
Thanks! Yes that's what I'm hoping! I'm getting fed up with running for only 10 minutes at a time so hopefully I can get on a start training properly for my very first half marathon I've signed up for in March! 😃
How are the hips? Have you been getting physio? Hope you can work your way forward to 10k. By the way, did you get a new jacket? You were asking about one the other day?
My hips are feeling a bit better but slow progress. My right hip got better then my left hip started to hurt. And then I have lateral left hip pain from another hip injury! I'm hoping these new shoes will help! Yes have been getting physio and has helped a lot actually, got my next session in a few weeks time!
I haven't got a jacket yet - it's my birthday coming up quite soon and my mum says that she will get one for me then!
How's your running going?
Where did you have the fair analysis done? I think I need one so would be helpful to know. Thanks!
