Hi everyone I only got as far as the start of week 3 and then pulled a muscle in my back ( bending over to put my trainers on !?!?) Then got the cough/cold lurgy that is doing the rounds. Anyway better on both counts now but guessing you lovely people would advise me to start at the beginning again ? All advice appreciated, thanks x

If you were finding it easy going and have been active while not running, going back at week 3 is probably easy enough. But if it was hard work, I'd recommend going back to the start and giving yourself the best chance of managing it comfortably as you get going again :) So much of running is about the mind, you want to know you can do it before you start!

I had to stop for a couple of months due to knee and then back. I had reached w8. I'm going back to the beginning, but I don't know if you need to.

If you were as RainbowC says, finding week 3 okay, before injury etc, then just recap that week maybe:)

Take it steady and very slowly, you will soon know if you need to start again! Our bodies are very good at sending messages. i feel if your lurgy has left you... you should be fine! let us know how it goes please? :)

I had to stop at week 3 for knee pain for a month but just started back where I left off and it's been fine - it amazes me how quickly our bodies adjust to the exercise. I would try w3 again and see how you get on.

Give it a go from where you were at if it wasn't a really extended period out. The worst that will happen is you'll need to go back to Week 1 or 2. :)

Good for you, getting back into it. It doesn't matter too much where you start, it is only a couple of weeks difference. Personally I'd do week 1 to start with a positive experience.
