Starting C25K again...

Digging out my old trainers to start again after about 18 months of not running. Stopped as I hate people seeing me run and my routes shrank to the point I didn't go at all, but going to try again, it's even more silly as I don't see many people at all and I'm sure they don't care anyway and its all in my head πŸ˜•

Posting this in the hope it helps me do this!

Welcome back check out those links and know that you won't be out there running alone.. we are all with you...and if anyone stares.. it is because they think you are awesome... and they are absolutely correct!!!

Slow and steady does it!

You can do this Woods. Run for you and who cares what anyone else thinks. Our heads play so many games with us and its a tricky thing to deal with sometimes. As the admins would say, go slow and progress along the way. You’ve got this! πŸ‘πŸΌπŸ’ͺπŸ‘ŠπŸƒβ€β™€οΈ

I know how you feel! I am very good at finding different routes on the spur of the moment to avoid passing some poor soul out walking their dog who probably doesn't give a damn about me. I'm hoping that as I get better it will be less of an issue but on the up side I'm seeing a lot more of the neighbourhood!! Good luck, you can do it!

Thank you - I'm glad I'm not the only one that does that ☺ Just trying to follow the other advice I've seen posted here about not over thinking things and just getting on with it. Good luck to you as well.
