More technology woes

I really think the techno gods are out to get me.

Following my problems on Wednesday, I downloaded both the new app and the podcasts. Downloaded Sarah Millican, as I think she's great. However, after listening for about a minute, I realised that she is probably not the best person to motivate me to get out the door "Don't worry, I'll be with you every step of the way". I don't think so. My imagination is not that good.

So, this morning, I decided to use the podcast (yes, I managed to work out how to download them too). W4R3. All going well (although there is no countdown timer as on the app, which I like to look at occasionally to make sure Laura is still with me). Just getting to the last run and podcast just stops. Luckily, I knew I had to do five minutes, so I just used my watch.

What is it with me and technology?!!!

Well, we'll see what W5 brings on Monday ...

  • If technology is your main issue that suggests your lungs, legs and mind are all doing fine!

  • Fingers crossed - I haven't had any aches and pains yet and my mind just wanders off on its own ... it's inclined to do that at lot.

  • That's great news. That is the pure joy of running once you have graduated.

  • Well done, even with the gadget gremlins out to play! That's strange that the podcast stopped. Is it the NHS C25k one? Getting through regardless is great. Don't worry about Week 5, you're more than ready. :)

  • Download the NHS choices c25k podcasts which is Laura! It's the best! (I wonder what the Jo Whiley instruction is like though? I would think the others are a bit of a joke really)and she lets you know how long you have left on the run. Letting your mind wander is great as long as you concentrate and listen properly to the instruction.😊

  • Has Sarah Millican done the programme do you think???????? At least with Laura we know she is a C25k graduate, and I like that idea! Credibility, that's what's needed to motivate!
