Puppies and horses...not much running!

So 6 weeks or so post graduation and have been repeating podcast for week 9. Truly I'd had enough of bloody Julie (you'll know the song when you get there!) so finally downloaded stepping stones, speed and stamina podcasts. Went out this morning full of the joys of spring to try something different....my thoughts...

I don't like bossy Laura counting my paces for me

Horse riding for the first time in years just before running is not a good idea

Very cute, large pawed, floppy eared stray puppies trying to lick your legs and play with your laces whilst you are running doesn't make for a relaxing time...

Will try again tomorrow, hopefully minus the horses and puppy and back to encouraging Laura I think... :-)

I hated stepping stones the first time I did it too, but I'm reliably informed that it gets better the more repeats you do. Good luck :)

I just downloaded some audiofuel stuff from iTunes. All the good boomty boom music but no nagging! They're very good, and you can choose how many bpm you feel like.

I found stepping stones ok but really hated the music - it seemed very 'electronic' A bit too techno/modern for me!
