Don't think I'm using the NHS app

So I've been reading posts that mention Laura and it has made me realise that I don't think I'm using the NHS app, I just have a voice telling me when to walk and when to jog and I don't have music.

This is the app I've been using

They do indeed....:) x

Thank you both xx

To get Laura - and I'd recommend it, despite the choice of music sometimes - don't use the NHS App, download the podcasts. Then you get Laura and the music. Join me in my love/hate relationship with her!

I don't think I'd have made it through without Laura..

...or Julie😄

I'm using the one linked to on the BBC website which is the PHE One You app. I have chosen Michael Johnson to be my guide. I could have had Jo Wiley, Sarah Millican or Sanjeev Kohli, all of whom I think are great in one way or another, but none of whom I would look up to in terms of athletic prowess, so I chose big Michael. There a heaps of these apps for C25K available so I guess you just need to find the one that works for you.

I've been using the NHS/BBC app with Jo Wiley telling me what to do and listening to my own choice of music. It's a bit clunky but it works. I also use MapMyWalk app at the same time to track my runs, it gives times for each km.

Brilliant, thanks everyone. Started week 5 today and feeling very proud of myself, woohoo

I've started with Laura and follow her instructions (she who must be obeyed)

Completed W4r1 last night still can't believe it would like to say I felt euphoric instead felt like I was going to die...

Plodded but didn't stop even when I find myself doing limbo dance to try and untangle my headphones when I tried to remove my waterproof-- couldn't stop as Laura hadn't told me to

I'm not using 'laura' either as she doesn't work on my phone. I'm using an american app but it seems to follow the standard course. My 10yr old son and me have just completed week 3.
