W4R1 I did it!

I can't express how wonderful I feel right now. I have to say the last 5 minutes were hell, and half way through them I struggled a lot with my breathing, I felt 90 seconds between the 3min and the 5 min run wasn't enough to fully recover, but I did it! Thank you for all the encouragement messages you guys left me last Friday, they really help! Let's see now how I do on Wednesday.

Brilliant news! Well done you. Every run is putting more in your stamina 'bank'. You know it's doable now. Good luck with the next two ☺☺

Every, very well done... slow and steady and you will get there.

Each step you take makes you stronger... :)

Well done! If the programme says you're ready, you're ready! You know you can do it now so next two down and then on to Week 5! :)

Well done! It's only four weeks since I was where you are and I remember how good it felt to have done that first run in week 4. There are some great people giving you support - they are still there for me now and helping me get to week 9, so you'll be in good company on your journey.

One of the things they told me back then is that all the effort you are putting in now will be the foundation of what comes afterwards - how true! Each week you do more but you can't do it without the previous parts of the course (unless you are a super-athlete and they don't need C25k!)

"Trust in the Programme!" they said. They were right - it's brilliant so go for it and good luck!!!

It is actually a brilliant programme, to me the best of it is that week after week allows you to surprise yourself. It's that confidence boost what makes you go on.

I'm at the same stage as you and have the same doubts and find each session difficult

I plod rather than jog but managed to keep going which was even a struggle on a W1 R1

Yeah, it's never easy... But that's why you feel so great once you finish!
