Having made an enthusiastic start last year I stopped my c25k on doctor's orders when a bladder infection turned really nasty and wiped me out for a while. I'd got to week 4 at that point. Did nothing exercise-wise over Christmas but promised myself I would start all over again by the end of January. And I have! I started from the very beginning (a very good place to start...) earlier this week and today I completed w1r3.
The good news is I feel far less terrible than I did during week one last time round. The bad news is I am still shockingly unfit and out of puff. BUT I am sooooo determined and this time round I am going to finish. I have to. Because I have signed up to run a 5k in June! Having never ever done anything like this before, I have decided that 2017 is my year and it is the year I become a runner. My fabuously fit, strong and sporty daughter-in-law will be doing it with me so I simply cannot chicken out. Wish me luck folks!

Well done! I know all about starting back at the beginning, you'll be fine - in fact better than fine I'm sure. I'm also working through C25K for a second time as well. In my case I simply wimped out at W4R2 before Christmas. I started all over again because I'd lost confidence in myself. So far for me, second time round, it's W4R1 this coming Tuesday ... we'll see this time.
O well done getting back out there & signing up for a 5k😊😊you will get there with that great determination of yours😊Keep us updated on how you are getting on and your fitness will soon be that of a runner🏃🏃enjoy!
Great work getting back to it! I think you will find it easier the second time round. Mentally you know what to expect and you know you can do it. Great target to aim for too. You will finish, especially with an attitude like yours!
