This morning was my second national trust 10 k at Lyme park Stockport . THe NT 10 k s are so good , I can so recommend them if there is one near you . So well organised , well marshalled and timed and free! ( THankyou lovely NT people ) . This morning it was cold and crisp but dry ( although a few snow flakes did fall on the more open areas . This time I didn't spot any deer but I knew they where out there somewhere . I knew the route this month so managed to plan better and knocked 4 mins of my December race time . I am delighted at that . ALl followed by a lovely rewarding cup of coffee and a slice of banana cake .. Sunday bliss xx

Well done...and followed by a NT hot drink and banana cake! I did look in to the one near me in Surrey (Polesden Lacey) but sadly it's not a timed or marshalled one.😕 Yours sounds fab so I will keep looking out!

Well done and the surroundings sound lovely. Sadly there aren't any round here but they do look good.

Well done you. A national trust run sounds lovely! Once I work up to that 10k maybe that should be my target.
