well I didn't know that... Just watched britain's favourite supermarket foods on bbc1, and apparently milk aids muscle recovery! better than the sports drinks. Milk drinkers recover better because of the protein for repair and carbohydrates decrease muscle soreness. Milk it is tomorrow! And it can be skimmed or semi skimmed

I wonder if chocolate helps? ;)

Ive read that chocolate milk is good after exercise. best of both. chocolate & milk!

I'm not a milk fan, unless it's flavoured...and have been tempted the odd time by those Mars 'energy' drinks when I'm feeling very naughty rather than a sports drink!

Don't like milk on its own, too claggy on the throat!! I have skimmed milk in tea and cereal. I eat yoghurt and cheese so I guess I get the protein there.

Oh that's good, I love milk but only have it in coffee or on cereal but then I do have a lot of coffee ;)
