I did it!!

I am so happy I have just done the dreaded 20 minute run in week 5 and even added an extra 5 minute and I am so pleased with myself!! the first ten minutes were the hardest and I thought I wasn't going to finish it but then it seemed to get easier the longer i ran. I am 51 years old and new to running so this is a biggie for me but I reckon i got through the mental barrier because of all the posts on here, they gave me loads of motivation to carry on when i felt like stopping!! very pleased girl I am!!

Well done🎉🎉🎉

You must be so so proud😀. I'm only half way through w1, and find it hard to believe I'll be able to do this. Good look with the rest of it 👍

Massive well done you. slow and steady does it... Kicking the pesky mind gremlins is a huge bonus... they try everything they know to stop us running!

Onward and upward.. :)

Well done, I think when you've done that 20 minute run, the running continuously for 30 minutes looks distinctly achievable. Go you !

Well done Cath, thats a breakthrough run and really does feel fantastic doesn't it.😊

The first 8 to 10 mins are tricky whilst enough oxygen is being pumped into your bloodstream. But if you know this and take the start nice and steady, push through it, then that feeling of it getting easier and relaxing into it makes your running so much more fun. You really can believe that graduation is possible!!😄

Go you.xx
