Well it's taken me a week to get back out there. have felt achy and lethargic this week and definitely not like running. forced myself out tonight with llooneytunes. managed the run but really didn't enjoy it. beginning to wonder if I have reached the limit of what I can run.

You have not reached the limit of what you can run. Not even close. You may however have reached the limit of what you want to run,and if that's the case, then so be it.

On the other hand, you could also get stubborn and refuse to give in. Your body and mind would thank you once you overcome this little blip. I hope you chose to do that.

It's not that long since you were ill, and if you've been feeling achy and lethargic during the week then it may be that you still aren't 100%.

You definitely have not reached your limit. Hmm, well it's either a mind thing telling your body you can't do it or it's a physical thing telling you you're not ready yet because you have been under the weather. I think you should cut yourself some slack, if you feel fit, it's probably your mind being a monkey, if you feel a bit under the weather, don't push it! 👏🏻👏🏻🏃🏻🏃🏼‍♀️🏃🏻🏃🏼‍♀️Well done for getting out there! 😀 Listen to your body.

I know what you mean - I felt like that last night when I went out - I think I was just too tired really....

...I'm sure you can do it - you just need to allow your body to be back at 100% fit and get back into the routine of going out! [I'm writing this because it applies to me as much as it does to you!!] :)

Linda, it sounds like you're not really better yet and your body is telling you to take a bit more time to fully recover. Don't be put off, once you start to feel better I'm sure you will start to enjoy it more and see some more progress. I'm sure you aren't at your limit.

I would say keep going. You might surprise yourself. I really think this time of year does not help to keep you going. I'm really struggling to drag myself outside for a decent run and quite frankly I'm not enjoying them as much as I did when it was light and warm outside. Good luck
