So I started well in 2016, and was so proud to achieve C25K, but I then got this very bizarre blistering condition under my arm, no one could fathom what it really was, last doctor thought shingles. Whatever it is has stopped me running, I have managed to return to Zumba now, and I am going to get my running gear back on next week and start again.
It's really disappointing having felt I'd done well, and I was beginning to see my shape change which was one of my goals, so to be back at square is disheartening, but I hope that by posting on here you will all support me in getting back out there, and I hope this time the blisters do not return........just hope I'm not allergic to running😂

I'm no medical professional but I remember listening to a phone in on the radio a couple of months ago about a condition called hidradenitis suppurativa that can occur in the armpits (and other areas with sweat glands) and that often stumps doctors or doesn't even feature on their radar so gets un/misdiagnosed. Maybe another option to throw into the mix if it hasn't come up already in your investigations!
Anyway, glad you're back at Zumba and hopefully the running is a smooth transition.
You can do this, Radley - in fact, you *know* you can, cos you already have! Don't feel downhearted about having to start again, but use the knowledge you gained last time to give you confidence. Now you're going into it knowing that even when you really don't think you'll be able to do the next week you actually will be ready for it...
