Moving on! (W6r1)

I made it! At long, long last I've moved past week five! Rather later than intended, as I didn't get out until about 9.40, but despite the dark, the damp, and the tired, it went well.

Although mist and drizzle aren't quite as pretty as frost, I had fewer worries about slipping, so that was helpful. First run was all good, but the second run took rather more effort. On the bright side, the incline which has defeated me in the past was no match for my determination tonight :) and I worked out my route around the village well enough that I only had to run up it once!

The final run was good - and I had just enough left in the tank so to speed up in the last few moments too :) I'm in two minds about whether to do this one again before moving on, just because I've been progressing so slowly, or whether to go with the momentum(!) and just crack on. I'll see how I feel next time I get to go out - won't be Thursday as I'm off out for a meal then instead! :D
