Hi,

I have just completed the 3rd run of week one and decided to join this forum to get connected to others doing it and learn from those who have completed the course.

I am 36, I an 5ft and weight too much around 75kgs. I used to be reasonably fit I never ran but went to the gym and did fitness classes several times a week until I started a new job 8 years ago. But the weight piled on when I had my daughter 2 years ago, no due to the pregnancy I actually weigh more now than at 9 months pregnant! I don't want to be a fat mum who can't play with her child,do I decided to make a change. I am eating healthy I and as I have very limited time I thought couch25k would suit to get exercise.

So that's my story I have signed up to park runs and have a year goal to run 5km in under 35 mind.

Yeah I actually have enjoyed it a lot. Today I found getting out of the house tough but once I did it I enjoyed it. I think the app is great as although I am busted at the end of each run I am not sore or overly tired.

Ha ha! Getting out of the house is the hardest part of every run 😉 So well done you for getting out there.

What a great reason you have to run:).

Enjoy! And welcome to the best forum in the net!
