Can someone point me in the right direction to find an existing 10K route near me, that someone or some people use ?

You could use plotaroute.com.
I'm not sure about your area but around mine there are no real set routes. It's running, if there's a path (of any description) someone will use it. Why not go to 'Explore' & 'Segment Search' then enter in your postcode and see what segments turn up near you that you can then incorporate into a route of your own? (As you mention Strava).
Ah, are you moving on to 10K? Go you!
I need the challenge .. I have found my interest has slowed since achieving my 5K target .. I'm doing Parkrun every Saturday but I need more ?!
At this rate you'll be doing marathons! Good for you. I'm happy playing around with the C25K+ podcasts, consolidating at 5K (took me a while) and getting gradually faster. (More tortoise-with-the-offer-of-lettuce than tortoise now!) I'm not saying I'll never do 10K, but not at the mo.
Hi Rob. I use MapMyRun which shows routes near you that others have used.
You can also use gb.mapometer.com/
I use goodrunguide. it gives you the suggested ones but also let's you plot new ones with its route measuring tool. easy to use and helpfully it shows footpaths. the zoom is good and clear. you can hone in on your locality and open up a veritable smorgasbord of runs You are represented as a little running man and you can toggle between footpath and satellite view so you can pinpoint exactly where you are on your route before leaving the house
New routes keep our running fresh. Have fun 😊
I use Walkjogrun. It will show routes that others use. you can also log in and create your own. And it's free. You can plot routes which will near as dammit give you an accurate distance probably within a hundred metres. It suffices for what I need.
