Hi all I graduated today having repeated Week 8 as got stuck (am running in the Southern USA and it has been so hot here!) and now on 9 and have done it! 5k in 31 mins! At 52 years old! But ..... I would like to find a programme to get me up to 10k and then I want to do a half-marathon next year... any ideas???
What next??: Hi all I graduated today having... - Couch to 5K
What next??

there is a bridge to 10k app you can use and lots of different training plans for halfs and full marathons, Galloway is quite popular as it uses run /walk.

Hey,
Check out the Podrunner website. Loads of free training podcasts. 31 minutes is fantastic - And a minute quicker than me 😜
I will chase you haha

Well done for graduating and what a great time! I graduated at Easter but didn't use a specific programme to reach 10k, I just ran 3 times a week and gradually increased one run (10% of week's total is official amount I think). It was all dependent on how I was feeling that week, work commitments, tiredness etc. I was surprised how quickly I managed to get to 10k but only run that distance occasionally. You sound very committed so I am sure you will succeed. Best of luck!

Don't forget to ask for your graduation badge!

Congratulations! That's a splendid time too for a 5k at graduation!

What a fantastic time and 5k too! Massive congratulations

Congratulations! Fabulous time, can't help you with your question, as I'm still an undergrad, but just wanted to say a serious well done! 👌🏻🎓🏅
Congrats! Well done! I graduated on Sunday - make sure to get your badge, see pinned posts on the right saying 'November Graduation badges 2016 - and I'm planning to do the C25K+ podcasts and the switch it up with some running, adding 10% of time each week. I have signed up for a 10K in Chamonix in June of next year. I know that is plenty of time but want to make sure I am ready for it without any injuries. Good luck with the training!

Congratulations. Well done. Enjoy your success and future runs
