Got to the end of my 9 weeks. Now jogging at a pace of 6 mins per km and finishing the 5k in just under 30 mins. Combined with eating no more than 1,400 calories per day, I have lost 2 stone in last two months. From 16st 10lbs to 14st 10lbs or 106kg to 93kg. Is there an app thar will simply measure out the 5k and record a time or can I do that on Couch to 5k? Do I just repeat week 9 from now on?

Well done Owain!! Awesome weight loss and as for 5k in under 30 mins- wow!! If you use Strava we have a group for all lockdown graduates- will add link below. I am in consolidation and loving the nike running app guided runs. I think you are supposed to carry on doing 5k or 30 mins for a couple of weeks at least, but you are so fast the admins might suggest you move straight on to longer distances. I am not qualified to advise. 😂

Great!! It’s not official or anything, just thought it might be nice for us lockdown grads to keep supporting each other if we were all using Strava 😀

I’ve also just joined- doing W9 R2 tomorrow and will graduate on Tuesday, so I’m a couple of days early but I hope that’s ok?

Jogging?? You are flying along- very well done! 😄 .. and fantastic weight loss too. 👏👏👍🏻

Consolidation of 3x 30 mins a week for a few weeks is next. 😄

After that choose your journey - what would you like to do? 😄

Thanks Elfe. Good advice. I will keep to 3 x 30mins for a few weeks and see where next. Maybe ParkRun as and when it returns.

There are some podcasts called C25k + Stepping Stones. They are quite good fun to follow up with once you have consolidated a few times
