New Shoes Are Go

Having made the investment in New Shoes on Sunday it seemed only right to give them their first run out this morning.

I set the alarm to ring at 6 am,30 mins earlier than normal so that I would have time for a run and get to work early.

I was awake before it rang so was able to leap out of bed when it did. Donned my kit which I had laid out the night before and on with the new shoes.

It felt could and I covered the ground more quickly than my last run. And more importantly I really enjoyed there. I finished off with some stretches and looking forward to Wednesday's run.

Happy running.

New shoes are the best and a great encouragement to run. I have run in my new shoes three times now and can't wait to get out there again tomorrow. Impressed that you got up at 6am! That's what I call highly motivated :-)

Congratulations on getting out there so early, I am impressed. I purchased new shoes on Friday, so did w7r1 yesterday wearing them. They felt really comfortable and I'm looking forward to run 2 tomorrow. Enjoy your early morning runs and your new shoes :)

Getting out early is a necessity as otherwise I won't run at the other end of the day. New shoes do seem to act as a bit of a spur. Enjoy yours. Well done on getting this far on the programme and good luck in the coming weeks as you progress towards graduation. Keep us posted on your progress.

My grandparents hailed from the same area of Italy as his family. Last time I was on holiday there he was there at the same time and saw him in the streets and supermarkets as well as listening to him jamming in one of the squares of an evening.

In Paisley? I've never seen him in person myself and live a stones throw from where his family live :)

Not Paisley, Barga, which is known as the most Scottish town in Italy.
