Life but not as we know it !

Way past middle age, but mentally still in my 30s. Got most things in life sorted, but bloody sick of being overweight (about 3 stone) I was a fat child this has followed me through life. Can do the diet but the weight always comes back on !! I am a member a gym & do spin a couple of times a week. Have just moved & we back onto a graveyard which I have started running around - the residents haven't complained so far !!

If the residents start complaining, you'll be running faster than the speed of light😂 Well done on starting with the running. I needed to lose a tad over 3 stone when I started c25k too and like you, the diets worked fine but never lasted! I chucked my scales when I started and have been monitoring the change in body shape and how many of my old clothes I can now get into again :) It really is an amazing programme. I never really believed I could do it but unlike the dieting, it gradually becomes addictive and the health benefits are incredible. Good luck with your runs, keep on going and keep posting!

Runfromfat - be warned, it pulls you in this running lark☺️. Enjoy every little achievement and be super smug that you've started the program. From a confirmed non-runner - you'll love it 😘
