Did my 2nd parkrun today. It felt a lot harder than before, and I thought I walked more of it, but managed a PB of 40. 32. Just glad to get round, my breathing isn't great at the moment. Thank goodness for blue inhalers!

Well done, that's a good time. Keep at it! I've only done one parkrun but hoping to do second next week. I love the atmosphere.

The time you finish isn't so important- starting at all is the main thing . 😊

Thanks for all the encouragement. I wish I could be a regular parkrun her but it isn't possible most weeks! The atmosphere is great and I love the way faster runners encourage those of us who are slower!!!

Hi, was it Dalby park run, as it's come up that you are 9 miles away from me. I did Dalby last Saturday for my first ever Park run and really enjoyed the whole experience and managed a PB of 38.35 could not believe it.

I was there as well, struggling with the cold, which didn't help my rather asthmatic breathing. I'll be there on Saturday either running or not depending on my chest feels, currently rather tight and not happy. Oh well

I managed 41. 24 which was ok for me, although I'd rather be faster!!

I haven't actually done the Dalby Parkrun , though a friend goes most weeks and wants me to go with her. Saturday morning is tricky as I work. I've done the Stewart Parkrun in Middlesbrough a couple of times when I've been staying in the Boro.

It was rather cold! As long as you enjoyed it that's the main thing. I'm not there on Saturday I must try and get organised for Xmas !!

You will become faster just give it time. But think of it as you are faster than those still on the couch!!
