Is it ok to go running when I've got a slight cold? I'm in the middle of week 8 and don't want to loose my momentum, I've got graduation in my sights!

That really depends on how you feel. Generally they say if symptoms are below the neck don't run, symptoms above the neck means you can run. If you have a temperature do not run. I totally sympathise as I have a head cold but couldn't run yesterday as I kept getting dizzy spells and I felt achey. I am hoping to get out later in the week for another run but for now I am on the couch. Better to rest than to be off longer with worsened symptons.

I agree better to rest so that you have the energy to continue. The fact that you talk about momentum means that you won't give up and lose it.

If it just a slight sniffles & you feel OK, then it shouldn't be a problem. It's when it's throat & chest you need to restup.. A run can clear the head...

Floss! You nonsense? No way! Great imagination yes! We need to see your inspiring pieces! I haven't seen any lately, been busy I suppose? Near future Grandma😊

Mrs Dave (slinky) is fine, and wouldn't think there's any problem, as she feels fine & goes about her daily duties & work, in good spirits! except for a slight cough like clearing the throat has come on, but that may be due now to the mind now knowing there is something there or the goiter pushing on the windpipe, probably it's pushing, so she really want's it removed soon. She's now on the waiting list they say, hopefully the operation will be in October, as hospital doctor say's he wants it removed soon rather than later!..We are at the hospital tomorrow for the final discussion & decisions. There is no option, it's absolute in our minds,it has to be done!😊 Thanks for asking X

An extra rest day or two won't make you lose any ground. Be guided by whether you feel up to it.
