Was all set for week 2 today, felt a bit ropey yesterday but didn't think much of it. 5:30am alarm set & early night in prep, then 2am this morning, cough , sneeze, blow nose & repeat.

Already half way through a roll of tissue paper on my desk at work uurrgghh !! Hopefully this passes quickly , i dont want to go back to square one! damn youuuuuuuuuu

Oh dear... I had the sickened bug which got in the way of starting W4 R1. Sadly I had to rest and stay in bed until my body was able to function normal again. Give yourself time you can pick up where you left off. I just done my W4 R1 am glad that I waited until I was up to it. I hope you feel better soon ;-)

Thanks hun, sure i'll be back on form sharpish xx

I've read on here that if the cold is above the neck you can run if you wish, if it's below the neck you shouldn't run. I know I wouldn't wish though!

Was gonna go for it but though coughing my guts up every 2 yards would annoy me. I luckily dont normally have flu etc for long so hopefully back on track asap x

If you have a really runny nose and thick head etc then it won't hurt to stay off running for a few days til you're better.

I think you'll probably be back out there inside a week but the snotty nose might carry on for a bit longer so take a ruddy gert hankie out with you

Hope you feel better soon. Flippin' colds are an occupational hazard of working in a school, so I get more than my fair share. Some paracetamol, plenty of fluids and a bit of TLC and that man flu will be gone in no time. You'll notice my prescription didn't contain the word 'running'. Better to wait until you recover before venturing out on week2. take care :)
