Got Suzi the bike(no, not the wife sadly) out for a 10k run to stretch it legs, or should I say wheels!π
Got Suzi out for a run!: Got Suzi the bike(no... - Couch to 5K
Got Suzi out for a run!
Isn't doing a 10k on one of them cheating somewhat?
Morning davelinks . Nice bike, can't quite make out what it is, Suzuki???? ..... We ride a Harley Davidson Streetbob. People at work have no idea, turn up at meetings wearing suit and heals ( not my bike I ride pillion), not an inkling to others That I have a life outside of the corporate side of things lol! Generally we tour the real Spain each summer so a touch more than 10k. This year due to the Silver Fox (OH) having an illness we had to have a breakπ© Back next summer all being well!
Doesn't matter what you ride, as long as you ride βπΌοΈππ.
Afternoon Jacsw, yes, it's a Suzuki VL125 hence the name? Nothing too special. Wouldn't mind a Harley sometime maybe. I bet you look great in your full leathers on the pillion. Have had a lay off bikes for a few years. But in my time have done a lot of 2 up touring on the continent on big Beemers, the best being over the Swiss Alps down to the Italian lakes then over to the French Alps, fantastic! Also taken in Southern Norway & Scotland, Isle of Skye & Mull. South of France & Corsica..
It has to be done!π
Yes got the name but couldn't quite work out the modelππ Beemers and Bonnies are what we grew up on, as you say it's got to be done!
Unfortunately not so great with the leathers as in the early years for sure!
Ride safe, ride steady but rideππΌ
Nice bike Dave, it looks heavy!
Super! I remember this pikkie from a very early past, post.. the wind blowing in the hair one
Looks great! Mrs Dave will be doing the 'Grease' bit again, in no time..x
I have the Suzi TU 250X LOVE IT!
Really nice Dave. Looking very comfortable. Can't wait to get my little red Honda postie bike shipped over West. I wanted to ride it back home but at 60k or 80k / hr and a 120k range fuel tank it would have taken me a long time to get it home East to West and I would have needed a trailer to carry spare fuel anyway. π
Still don't know if hubby will let me park it next to his Beemer in the shed.
Yes, that's big distance on a small bike, Cairns over to Perth? You need a van or pickup with some strapping? Or is it better by train shipping?
No, husband probably won't let you park it next to the Beemer! Ha Ha.. hasn't he got the wall sign? BMW parking only others will be crushed!π
Hilda went back on the escort truck to a friend in Melbourne and we will pick her up from there. May drive across the Nullabor in our van and bring her back ourselves. We can make it a holiday and It will give me the opportunity to check the Parkruns in Victoria. It should be beautiful to run there.
