Visiting friends in West Sussex, no gym in sight, so I bit the bullet and went for a run down lanes. Well it was so warm and quiet I kept going. Laura stopped talking and I ran for 45 mins which was just under 4K albeit slowly. Felt vibrant and has given me confidence to run outside when I get back.
What a difference running outside makes! - Couch to 5K
What a difference running outside makes!
Brilliant , runing outside is lovely
For me, the view is always the motivation for me to run. it is so peaceful just looking at the green.
I think I became a true convert to running when I started running outside. Every run is different - you never get bored!
That's great! A lot of people struggle when first going outside, but personally being outside is one of the things I love about running!
Cannot imagine running for half an hour on a treadmill! I admire those who do but I would be bored to tears I am so glad to read of your good run in West Sussex n particular - I will be there in January hopefully, staying not too far from Horsham and hoping it does not ice or snow as I cannot wait to run those wonderful pathways along the Weald
Brilliant well done - I love being out in the fresh air
Welcome to the big outdoors - I wouldn't swap it for a treadmill. Sunshine, wind on my face, the odd splash of rain and flora and fauna to distract you. Can't beat it 😀😀
Good! It's the bees knees. Even in winter 😊
It's great running outside with all the sights and sounds to enjoy.
