Me and Team GB did it! Wk 5 done 👍🏼

Thanks to Team GB, wk 5 done!

This morning it was touch and go, needed to run for a full 20 mins on the programme. But gremlins full in my face and very loud!

Then the tv said 'ITV logging off for an hour to encourage everyone to get active'. It was all I needed, I didn't want to be left out of Team GB for sure!.

So decided to run somewhere different rather than pounding the surrounding streets as usual. And it was great! Ran the full 20 mins and a couple more so that I completed full 3 laps of the playing fields! Told the gremlins "listen here, I am often told I am a strong and determined person so I am using that same determination to put you back in your box!".

Feeling great and pleased as punch. Now on to week 6,

I will do this! 😉

  • Thank you! Laura said it was more the mental side of things this run, so I forgot about the legs and concentrated on a positive mental attitude! I shall be using that more in future 😃
