Week 8, Run 1, Start on the flat, then up a hill (very small hill) very very small hill, in fact not really a hill, just a wee incline. Found it hard going, 20 minutes still to go, thought I would never make it, slowed down and finished. Run 2, Good run, no hills, felt brilliant. Run 3, same route as week 1, glutton for punishment, Awesome run, have developed this silly grin every time I finish a run, sometimes it is there all day. Feeling good.

Starting to get demob happy, 3 runs to go, platoon to a man says I won't make it, They don't know I have this forum helping me, thank you all for advice and encouragement.

Aonach Mor, near Fort William. Lots of beautiful places around here for running.

Lovely route - not sure I can quite make out the hill though!

You're doing so well - graduation is just around the corner!

So nearly there! 3 more sets of square bashing and you'll be shining up those graduate stripes :) Love your pictures - don't see many hills like that where I am ;)

Brilliant!! Well done. I have had that grin too. Not today though (w8 R2) as was desperate for a loo stop! So it was more of a get me to the loo quick grimace but go us!!!

Well done you. I graduated a few weeks ago but not really tackled hills yet. Have been consolidating and working on pace but yes, I must try a hill and maybe find my own silly grin!
