Still continuing with the programme only on week 3 after 8 weeks, but I now have a running partner and started back at week one 5 weeks ago, Last night we completed wk3r5 almost easy never, never thought we could do it, starting week 4 on Sunday but it looks hard but so did wks 1/2/3.The change in me is unreal with even customers at work saying how well i look, The mental change is the real surprise I cope much better with the stress of work and have a much better out look.

Great isn't it? As you said - all the weeks look hard before you do them. Don't worry about week 4, just trust the program (and your body). Good luck and have fun!

Good on you for persevering :-) Have just started W4 and pleasantly surprised at what I did. Laura doesn't move you on until you are ready. Good luck with the next run. You can do it😃

Hi Pikey. I took the program really steadily and moved on at my own pace, however in hindsight I think I would give myself a maximum 5 runs at each week. The program looks scary if you look forward, but has clearly been tried and tested by 1000's of people, many of them on here ( the nicest ones obviously) 😊. Don't do anything you don't feel comfortable with, but don't just stay comfortable - a little pressure on yourself is a good thing, and the feeling of achievement when you complete each run is priceless. 😊

Well done! Feels very tough at times doesn't it, but push through that feeling, it's well worth it, keep it up!😊

Great stuff! Once you get into the hang of this running lark you will be happy to run alone too as it's not always possible to run with others. Don't let it stop you. When you get into running regularly it helps with other areas of our lives, eg eating better, drinking less - or not at all, doing other exercise and walking more. No wonder we feel better and have an improved outlook. Going for a jog or walk, cycle ride etc is a great stress buster.

Keep up the good work Pike!

I spent the first year after starting to run, grinning inanely. I disguise it better now, but the mental boost from running was the biggest surprise to me and will change your approach to life in general. This is a life changing programme....tell your customers!!

Keep running, keep smiling.

Said it before but I'll say it again the program is brilliant and so is this forum 😀😀. Isn't it lovely when people start noticing you look better - I knew I felt better but was good to know it showed. Remember slow and steady wins this race 😀😀

Well done!! C25k is absolutely amazing and the best decision you'll ever make! So many positive benefits from it and they just keep coming. You'll be able to do Week 4... and right through to Week 9 and graduation. :) You can do it!
