Week 1 completed!

Yay! Still felt OK, no side effects from run 2 and got through the final one of the week this afternoon with no problem apart from having to stop briefly because my towel fell onto the treadmill! Today was the first day I had to give myself a shove to do it, but once I got on with it, I was fine and even did some cleaning when I got home (good cool down)! So now I really have deserved some downtime! In a way, I'm glad I was a bit less motivated, as I have now proved that I am not just going to skip runs for no good reason.

Onwards to week 2 - running early on Tues ahead of enforced rest after my steroid injection in my elbow. Looking forward to downloading the next podcast onto my aging iPod. I am going to stick to treadmill for my next two runs, but then might venture outside. There is a lake at work that I can run round on the flat, so that might be fun.

That's SO good. Well done. The lake sounds lovely for a future run too. Have a great time nailing week 2 :)

That's brilliant, isn't you've got a tough week out of the way. Love the sound of running round a lake. 😀
