Wind, waves and weather won't stop me from running

Well I managed it :) didn't cover the distances I have in the past 2 weeks but I did run at a slower pace. The forward back motion wasn't too bad. The side to side motion was the one that meant I had to slow down so not to loose my balance and end up on my bum on the floor, I tried to upload a short video to let you see the weather but it won't let me :( . On to Week 5 run 2 tomorrow morning before hopefully (weather dependant) getting on a helicopter and having 3 weeks off before I do it all again. If I continue at this rate I will be graduating when I am next on board here :)

Running on a boat. Wow, can't imagine what that is like! I love sailing but running! I bow down to your dedication!

Close, its an oil rig floating in the middle of the N.sea, it was my 1st attempt running in 8-10m seas and 70knot winds :)

Wasn't yours that ended up coming lose then? Still impressive!

HAHA, no this rig is owned by the same company tho so it has been the talk of the rig. Its the same type of rig so floats on big air filled pontoons

Wow! Well done, that is dedicated. I live on a boat, but wouldn't want to try running on it - although mine too small by a long way for it to be practical.

Ooh even more scary that high up. That sounds like extreme c25k. I was imagining some swanky cruise ship, how wrong could I be x

I'm used to people thinking its like a cruise ship. That was really just a summer storm so winter will be interesting.

Now that is dedication. Must help with balance and core strength I would imagine!

Yeah, I think thats why I had to go slower, the feeling of tipping over sideways was not fun.

Wow! That must have been pretty tricky - pity the video didn't upload! Must also rank as one of the most unusual places to run! Well done and good luck with your next run🙂

Just awesome. Cant really say any more. Except how cool would it be to say "I graduated c25k on an oil rig". It'll be upon you before you know it at this rate :)
