So after w8 R3 I was ready to halt right there, I found it really hard. So I listened to all your advice and gave myself 2 days rest and today started week 9, I actually really enjoyed it, I did take a slightly more downhill route but managed 2.5 miles in 30 minutes I know it's a little short of 5k but I'm really pleased. May need to work on my route though I've ended up with my car 2 miles away from home which ill have to walk to later, then having to walk a mile home at the end of my run!
Keep going everyone, I seriously couldn't run for 30 seconds last year.

Well done you are nearly a graduate too. I did 9-2 yesterday. It's such a fab feeling being able to run for thirty minutes. Im not getting as far as you- 2.4 miles but there was a fair bit of inclines and I go so slowly going up . But as Laura says it's about stamina, running for the thirty minutes and the reaching 5k can be our next targets. Very best of luck the rest of week 9.. See you at the finish!!
