Took my new toy out this morning and ran with Runkeeper as my guide and Madonna in my ears (sorry Laura but you will come with me again on Tuesday). My music obviously has a faster beat so when Runkeeper told me my average speed I panicked thinking I would run out of steam too soon. Then I remembered the post from Irish-John yesterday, and I tried to relax, first my shoulders, then my legs and do you know what I kept the speed up for the whole 25 minutes. Nothing amazing but my best yet and it feels fantastic so thank you for coming with me today. 😀😄
Week 7 is done !: Took my new toy out this... - Couch to 5K
Week 7 is done !
Well done. I have to go out this morning but hope to "catch up" with you later.
Have a good run. Has certainly put me in a high for the day. Poor hubby is still creeping around trying to wake up. Told him he needs to get started in C25K - he's at the procrastination stage !
He could start with walks.. I met my husband going out for his walk..( walker not a a runner.. ) a two mile today, as I was coming back in from my run...4 miler! I was late going out and he was earlier....By the time I had had my shower.. and some juice, he was back here ready for breakfast
Oh my gosh, you're into the penultimate week! How fast has the time gone? Congrats on a well run week seven. Now you have Julie to look forward to and then graduation is just around the corner!
Very curious about Julie ! And I can't believe I got to this point - I struggled so much in those first 3 weeks and today I have run for 25 minutes at an average speed of 9.13 mins/km. last week it was over 10 minutes. 10 weeks ago I could barely shuffle for 60 secs. This program and forum is incredible. 😀
Well done OP! It's all about consolidation from here on !
