Parkrun - for C25K'ers!!

Over two years ago, I completed W2 D1 of C25K at my local parkrun. I included the 5 minute warmup and cooldown walks - plus the workout required - all while going around the parkrun course. I did most of the rest of C25K at parkrun too - except for when I was travelling (we are retired and I have a camperbus)

So - beginner C25K'ers - get Thee down to your local parkrun!! :) - no need to wait until you can run 5K in 20 minutes !!! :)

So true! You will find great encouragement there. Runner of all ages, shapes, sizes and abilities. And at least at all the parkruns i've been to there is always someone from the volunteers walking the course at the back. So if you end up walking you'll have company.

Yes I need to test myself at a local Parkrun once the Sat morning Rugbytots term has finished for the summer that I take my son to. I can do the distance no problem, 20 mins might be pushing it though ;)

i agree wholeheartedly - much more motivation for you too. It is a good way to do one of your 3 weekly workouts of C25K
