I'll try and get out of bed on time to go to Bromley Parkrun, It could be a very wet, muddy affair.

Still haven't made up my mind! I shall check the weather first. I probably will go for it, but I'm reserving the right to stay in bed if it looks horrible out!

Is that your 97th one then?

Ugh - just checked the forecast - rain all night and rain in the morning. Not keen on that mud again - bit of a wimp! I still might though!

The thought of the mud is putting me off as well. Thursday was great, the ground was frozen and no mud in sight, but it's been raining most of the day and I know it's going to be seriously soggy........

ooooooooo dear. too wet and muddy for me. Ours is a three lap course with a very muddy section. By the time you do the third lap it can be awful, so I'm not going....I will try to do treadmill tonight.

David had to be at work this morning at 7, so left sometime round about 6ish, so was up getting ready before that. Which meant I was wide awake before 7. I lay in bed as long as I could but then had to get up, the rain was hammering on the velux window above the loo as i was sitting contemplating. I had the choice of waiting around for over an hour then heading out into the rain and wind and soggy mud and knee deep puddles; or going and playing in the shed, in the dry on the treadmill. Wet and cold and waiting around or boredom. I chose boredom and an audiobook. So after just over an hour on the treadmill, minus a quick wee break (can't do that on a parkrun, at least not while wearing hi-vis stuff) I've run 8.5k this morning, had my brekkie and a big cup of tea and would only just be finishing if I'd been out on the parkrun.
