20 Mins Non Stop!

That went by so fast! The beginning was slow but I still enjoyed it and I know the return would be down hill so I held on to hope. It was fantastic! I did it! It was more of a jog than a full on run but I am so happy right now! Did I just do that? I did!!!! Thank you guys. Knowing that I would write this post also kept popping up as I run and helped me get over the mental block of "am I tired right now?" πŸ˜‚ (Full disclosure: I had chips and 250ml of a light beer yesterday maybe that helped fuel me today too. Not recommended though πŸ˜‰)

  • Well done! 20 minutes is such a milestone - so exciting to achieve! Big wahoo from me!

  • Wahoo! Thank you 😊

  • Congratulations!!! It's a fantastic feeling isn't it?! You'll be wearing that grin on your face all day 😁

  • It is an awesome feeling! I hardly know what to do with myself now 😁 Thank you!

  • Haha. Enjoy every second of it!

  • Well done, nowt wrong with a jog it's got me to 28mins lol

  • Well done for pushing through!! Knowing you can do the longer runs will get you right through to graduation now!

  • Well done. Enjoy that glowing feeling. You deserve it!

  • Well done - it's a great feeling isn't it. I assume it was w5r3? If I may, be careful of w6r1 as it is a sneaky little fella. All the adrenaline and jubilation of w5r3 carries you up to w6 and the gremlins change their tack.

Rather than saying you can't do it, they say 'of course you can do this, it's easy compared to w5, go on, go for it, why not go really fast?'. Turns out a whole bunch of us struggled on w6r1 because it isn't as easy as the gremlins want you to believe.

So, slow and steady as ever wins the race. You have done amazing so far, you _will_ rock w6, and congratulations on a very significant milestone :-).

  • Thank you. Yes I just completed Week 5 Run 3. I'll be looking out for those gremlins on my next run now. I did already start thinking that Wk6R1 (with walking in between!) sounded like a breeze. πŸ˜… Those gremlins don't waste any time.

  • Well done! I should have done W5r3 yesterday but for various reasons didn't. Tomorrow... ;)

  • Thank you! Hope you enjoy your Week5Run3 run as much as I did!
