That's the first run of week three done. I was a bit apprehensive before I went out about the step up to 3 minutes. Did the first 90 seconds and wasn't too bad then the 3 minutes came on. I just kept a slow and steady pace as Laura told me and wasn't sure how long I'd been running for then I heard Laura's voice and thought great that's me done, that wasn't too bad only to hear her say that's you halfway there only another 90 seconds to go 🙈🙈 I just plodded on and managed to complete it. I managed all the run bits😡. I like the music more on week 3 too.
Today was definitely cooler and this is the first time I've run early so I don't know if either of these things might have helped. I definitely think the slight drop in temperature helped. It 18 degrees just now whereas all the other runs have been into the 20's.
Sorry PippiRuns but I have to mention my new shoes. What a difference I noticed even just walking out the house. They felt perfect (especially with the lock up lacing😄) I never knew the meaning of "shoe love" but I think I do now. I think you should treat yourself for your great achievement of your 5K 👍😄

Well done you ☺ it is amazing how much difference new shoes can make ☺
Very well done! You are doing so well, and I'm glad that you loved your new, nice, extra nice, shoes. I did actually get new shoes right after graduation, less than a month ago. They are really nice Nike ones (have a look at my profile - they are in the picture there), I just really like the look of yours. I love my new shoes though! It's like walking on air.
