Week 5 Run 3- How did this happen?

I can't believe that I actually ran for 20 minutes straight yesterday. It was INSANE and I have rarely been so proud of myself. I went from finding 60 seconds horribly difficult to running for 20 mins??? Doing 5k now seems so much more possible!!!

Sticking with the programme is like magic, it just takes you up, week by week...I am proud of myself, and also everyone who is pushing themselves out of their comfort zone to do this.

woooooooohooooooooo :) :) well done, it's a bizarre thing isn't it. I felt exactly the same, finished it and was kinda like......really?.....was that it?......why did i wind myself up beating myself down thinking there's no way in hell i'm gonna be able to run for 20mins.....i mean....20mins......really made me realise how far i'd come (have just realied i haven't written my 'done' post).

I did wk6r1 yesterday after doing some aerobics on Sunday, really didn't think i was going to be able to complete it as my inner thighs were screaming murder at me. They feel better today than yesterday post run but i really am NOT looking forward to tomorrow :/

another big WELL DONE, onwards and errrrr.........onwards :)

Well done - that's the turning point. A doddle from here (sorry, slight exaggeration!). Watch out for W6 R1, it catches some people out.

Well done and a wahoo from me!

That's brilliant. It feels amazing and when you think back to the panic of w1 it's unbelievable isn't it? I still think ooh I ran 20 minutes in one go and wonder if I dreamt it☺️

Well done !

This is a real turning point this one, a defining moment where you think "Yes , I CAN do this ! "

Very much a mental challenge as well as a physical one, and it just makes us think we are capable of so much more than we ever thought possible .

Be very proud of yourself ! :-) xxx
