...and completed same distance as w9r2 despite pace feeling much, much slower. So glad to have completed the programme - it started off as a semi-serious NY resolution but I feel so much fitter and healthier as a result π. Now wondering how best to maintain and build on the achievements of the last few months. Parkrun (Severn Bridge) may feature soon π¬. I'm also attracted to the idea of gradually adding in the odd interval style session using the first week or two of C25K as a model (jog-run rather than walk-jog). I've seen the idea mooted here but has anyone successfully tried this? Sounds tough!
W9R3 done!!: ...and completed same distance as w... - Couch to 5K
W9R3 done!!
Congratulations on completing C25K, well done

Well done! Amazing work!
I was thinking the same thing about the jog-run intervals, so it's nice to know someone else is thinking the same thing! I think i'm going to do another week of 30 mins first (32 if I think i can manage it!) just to build more confidence with that length of time.
It'll be good to see how you get on!
Well done Runner.
Congratulations! I'm one behind you, looking forward to my trophy on Thursday! I'm planning a week or so of repeating week 9 before I try anything new! Do have plans to treat myself to a gait analysis and new trainers though!
Great plans! New trainers came along w5-6 for me. Made a huge difference.
Congratulations graduate ππ₯³
Congratulations!!! 10k next?
Yay!!
Congratulations! Well done you. ππππ₯³π₯³π₯³
Probably a good idea just to consolidate your running for a week or two before you move on. There is always the lovely Bridge to 10k forum. What you describe is known as jeffing:
It's basically what you've been doing for the past nine weeks.
Looking at your username and the mention of the Severn Bridge, do you live where I think you do? I lived there for a while some years back. (You're probably going to ask what on earth I'm talking about now π).
Congratulations on your graduation π sadly broke ππππ
