, Looking like a true survivor, feeling like a little kid" now try and stop singing it lol
well i did it, the last 5min run was a struggle and it's a good job Laura couldn't hear me as i was most definitely casting doubt on her parentage! Thankfully it was a dry run for me (i know some of you mentioned rain ) My calf's were really starting to scream towards the end, my breathing didn't feel too bad until i went to a walk phase and then i felt like i'd gone back to smoking 20 a day.
Thursday is going to be tough (8 minutes running, 5 minutes walking, 8 minutes running), a 3minute increase seems such a jump up. although at least i don't have to get up at my usual 5:30 to head out as it's a day off for the other half's birthday.
Thanks for all the kind words today and all the support given. Good luck to you all on your personal runs - i shall look forward to hearing how you have all got on x

Well done. Good luck with week 5 it's a tough one. I'm all set to start week 6 tomorrow.
My instructor (doing this with a club) decided week 5 was too hard so changed the break down quite drastically. We did 2 runs of 10/3/10 then the big 20 as run 3. Actually didn't know the real breakdown till I read this.
I just do as I'm told so no idea what I'll be running tomorrow lol I just run till I'm told I'm allowed to stop. Hopefully we'll all get jelly babies again tomorrow for our hard work.
Well done! I just did W5 R2 today. 8 minutes seemed like a very long time ... when Laura started to tell me I had 1 minute left (on both runs) I was sure she was going to tell me to stop. But I had to keep going another 60 secs! R3 coming up - 20 minutes?!!
