Last night I did week 5 run 1. The first 5 minute run I found easy, I could easily have carried on going! This gives me hope for my next run on Tuesday since that one is 8 minutes for the first run. I struggled on the last 5 minutes half way through it, but slowed my breathing down and managed to get through it ok. The big news is I haven't had to ice my legs in over a week either!!!!!! I think they've finally caved in to the fact that running is here to stay and so there is no point in complaining about it!

You are doing amazingly well and glad your legs are holding up too!
As Laura says, always good to have something left to go for, at the end of a run and as you say, it will stand you in good stead for your longer runs..
Slow, and steady.. those legs are learning what they are for.. well done you :)x
Well done , half way is a huge achievement already , keep on doing what you are doing , you will be just fine ☺
But more than two thirds through the programme before you're running non stop for 25 minutes and more. Graduation is the fist pump session but what a buzz running non stop gives you and it's only 5 runs away.
What an amazing programme, all the best.
